Safe Space Policy
The purpose of Multikulti is to provide a safe haven in the community where people can take refuge to escape the toils and negativity of the world. Our core mission is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where people feel welcomed, comfortable, and at home. We want to provide a positive and uplifting place where people can freely express themselves, engage in new experiences, and collaborate on fun and creative projects.
To do this it is essential for all of our patrons and guests to be treated with courtesy and respect. As such, we strive to keep our common space free from hostile, disrespectful, or oppressive action, behavior, and language. We deem inappropriate such behaviors as: racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of hateful speech or degrading treatment. We will act to ensure that all our visitors are treated with respect.
As the name implies, Multikulti is inclusive of people from all cultures, beliefs, nationalities, and walks of life. We promote mutual respect, tolerance, nondiscrimination, and radical inclusion We promote unity, peace, and solidarity. We promote culture and diversity. We are advocates for social justice and human rights. Creating a peaceful space in our community is the foothold for building a greater peace in the world.
